This week: Failure: Failure

Symptoms: Feeling that you will never be able to do it and deciding to give up trying any further.

Diagnosis: An awful failure.

Painkiller:

  • You can definitely do it. Take a break and think about something else for a while.

  • Allow your previous successes to inspire you.

  • The success of your competitors may be a source of frustration for you, but there are many sources of inspiration within the successes of others, even in aspects far from your area of interest.

  • Remember that achieving your goal from the first trial is not the definition of success. Rather, it is precisely referred to as luck. Normally, success comes after several attempts. The outstanding successes are born from the womb of suffering.

Treatment:

  • The recipe’s ingredients of luck are not specific, while success’s basic component is hard work.

  • Persistence does not necessarily mean repeating the attempts in every detail.

  • While it is highly important to be cautious not to repeat your previous mistakes, it is no less important to foresee the possible new snags and be ready to overcome them.

  • You achieve your success through determination, not by counting the number of previous attempts. Don’t allow yourself to become apprehensive before your upcoming attempt.
