African Americans surveyed about Blacks’ dominance in sports
BY PETER SESAY

What better time in the whole year than Black History Month (February) to revisit the hot issue of Blacks’ dominance in sports, including white people’s sports such as tennis that no one has dominated more than our own sister Serena Williams?!
We recently published an article on the subject, based on interviews with a dozen athletes, eminent journalists, doctors and other experts. That article, which is accessible only to our paying members, is available at the link below:
Inside Blacks’ dominance in sports
Our second article on the subject was the verbatim statements of several African Americans of diverse backgrounds. We bring you at the link below the statements of a poet; a pastor, high school teacher; an entrepreneur; a spiritual worker; a music producer and artist; a college student; a cinematographer; a herbalist and travel advisor; a store leader; and a visual artist. They spoke to The African’s freelance reporter Jessica Miller.
